WHY YOU SHOULDN’T BE POOR IN LIFE

An excerpt from SOUGHTOUT E. MATTHEW BOOK titled “WHY YOU SHOULDN’T TRY TO BE POOR IN LIFE”.

 
INTRODUCTION
There are people today who would be poor the rest of their life. These will be poor because they never know that it is not the will and the wish of God concerning them.
3Jn 1:2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth”.
They never think that it is possible to become prosperous in life. Poverty mentality had saturated their thought life that they do not think about being prosperous.
Take note!
Your thought is a reflection of who you are and who will continually be.
Pro_23:7 “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee”.
Prosperity is good, so you have to saturate your thought life with it if you want to become prosperous in life. Poverty is evil, so don’t think about it lest it captivate your life and enslave you to poverty.
The Bible enjoined us:
1Co_13:5 “…. thinketh no evil”.
These ones don’t dream to be rich rather they allowed poverty to possess their imagination that they picture poverty always. These ones pictures eating poor food, poor clothing’s, poor accommodation, poor education, poor jobs, etc. and that is why they cannot rise up above poverty in their life.
I want you to note that, what you picture determines what you will capture. What you imagine emerges. So, imagine yourself become the richest not just in your community; but in your continent. Positive imagination will make you an unstoppable achiever. God even knows about it.
Gen 11:5-6 “And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do”.
Many are out there today that never believe they can rise above poverty, all because in their family background, they had poor for about past five generations. They never know that what they believe, they become.
I still want to let you know that despite the fact that your patriarchs and matriarchs of past five generations were poor does not mean that such circle of poverty will continue in your generation. You can break-free from it, if you believe you can.
Mar_9:23 “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth”.
1. POVERTY IS NOT WHAT GOD IS SEEING ABOUT YOU
Rev_2:9 “I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan”.
If you look at the above scripture, you can understand that poverty is not because you don’t have work. God is saying that He know you works.
Again, whatever trouble you are passing through, God know about it and including your poverty.
In the above scripture, God still want you to know that despite the fact that He know your works, troubles and poverty, He know also that you are not meant to be poor. You are rich! Do you know that? Are you seeing that?
Until we learn to know what God really knows and sees about us, we cannot have a change of mentality that will bring a change in our behavior and change of circumstances.
Although, God knows you are poor right now does not meant you are poor. God is saying …but you are rich.
Anytime God says but, He mean that the first phrase about you is nullified by the word ‘but’ and it is validated with the phrase that follows the word ‘but’
