Award winning R ‘n’ B act, Darey has said spoken about the motive behind his decision to feature Grammy award winning Soweto Gospel Choir of South Africa on his new song, ‘Pray for me’.
In a chat with newsmen in Lagos while speaking about his upcoming album, Darey said he had completed work on the songbut then felt there was a missing link. ‘I had finished the song as far back as December 2014 but listening to the sound during a live recording in London, I was hearing a choir in my head. This was in February. I later got across to them and the recording was done in March,’ Darey disclosed. He further revealed that the choice of Soweto Gospel was also fuelled by his desire to cross borders and appeal to a larger audience....Nice step
